For the imminent arrival of the new and most recent season of Game Of Thrones, the brand Oreo meticulously reproduced the credits of the famous series, in stop-motion and with total 2750 Oreo cookies used. The goal ? Promote one of their biggest collaborations ever: the launch of Oreo, a limited edition, inspired by the series HBO.
This reworked version was produced by 360i and Elastic Creative, a UK agency that also produced the original credits. In 50 seconds, the spot evokes the same aesthetic as the real, by building geometric shapes and large towers, made of stacks of Oreo biscuits. Oreo is part of the brands, happy elected, eager to collaborate in partnership with the series. Among those, Mountain Dew (Pepsi) who will take out cans in limited edition.
The Oreo will be stamped with the logos different houses, representing the families remaining all fighting for the throne, but also the white walkers hiding behind the wall. In addition, a social media activation has been devised to extend the experience. Fans will be able to bet their loyalty: either at Stark House, Targaryen House, Lannister House or White Walker using the hashtag #GameofCookies and #ForTheThrone.
