Matthew Mohr Explain : "The sculpture deals with the relationship between ourselves and the representation we have of ourselves. We ask the subject of the portrait to reconsider his presence by the magnification of his face. The purpose of my installation is to entertain and create debate on important topics such as the phenomenon of social networks, diversity and the power of public art.
But through this sculpture, the artist finally admits that he wanted to create a very visual representation of human vanity. Matthew wanted to illustrate the need for recognition that we have all already lived at least once in our life, which asserts itself here with a giant representation of face.
